Ocean State Job Lot’s Chief Marketing Officer, Paul Conforti, will share some highlights from this journey, and some insights on what’s coming in the future.
About Our Speaker
Paul Conforti is the Chief Marketing Officer of Ocean State Job Lot, the northeast’s leading closeout retailer with 139 stores and sales exceeding $700 million. Paul is passionate about building the company’s external and internal brand, enhancing employee and customer engagement, and solidifying the company’s competitive position for long-term growth. Under his leadership, OSJL has created their Insiders loyalty program, launched a new website and email platform, and integrated its Mission, Vision, & Values into all aspects of its organization. Paul is also the Managing Partner of Encore Hospitality Group, operators of Mill’s Tavern and Red Stripe restaurants. He serves on the boards of RI non-profit Amos House and the RI Hospitality Association. Previously, he was President and Co-founder of Finale Desserterie & Bakery, the country’s first upscale, dessert-focused restaurant chain. Paul received his MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, summa cum laude, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
If you pay at least 24-hours in advanced, no. We will keep a record of those who purchased a ticket at the door and confirm your payment then. Reminder: Ticket Sales end at NOON on the day of the event! Buy online early and save! Tickets are $20.00 at the door.
Can you tell me a little more about what to expect?
Sure! We meet for about two hours, but follow a typical flow: between 5:30 – 6:10 people arrive, grab some appetizers, and network with others; from here, our guest speaker will present and take questions until about 7pm. At this point of the night, our program is complete, but you are welcome to stay and chat longer, or spend time at the restaurant or bar as much of the crowd will do.
How does AMP-RI membership work?
Annual members pay a single, $60 fee for the year and attend all events free! That’s a great value financially.
